The most underrated position in the game by far.Whenever a play is made bot lane everyone praises the Adc however most of the time it is the support making the plays. Now I know that many of you league players have heard this all before but the message to adcs is not getting across, rarely do I see adcs complimenting their supports. But why should you compliment? To let the support know that you appreciate what he/she is doing. Even if you lose lane do not go negative on the support.

Adcs are so obnoxious it is the supports crowd control that disrupts the enemy and allows you to kill and farm safely. It is the supports shield, heal, poke and tankiness that allows a strong lane to withstand jungler and mid ganks. And whenever a good play is made always praise the support.

Mid Lane Domination

The Importance Of Mid Lane

Mid lane in my opinion is one of the hardest and most entertaining positions to play. Good mid laners can carry almost any game even when the chips are down. Mid is personally one of my favorite positions to play and in this article I explain the importance of it.

Presence

Mid lane is hard because in the game you want your presence to be felt. Once I hit 6 I constantly think of ways for my presence to be felt. Weather it is a gank at bot or an invade, you want to stamp your mark on to the game. Things like these require timing and patience.

Overdoing It

One of the biggest mistakes I constantly make while in mid lane is the over caring of bot lane. They give away a double kill and straight away I run down and never leave while leaving my jungler to take my creeps. This sets me really behind especially if I don't get a kill while there. I am just really paranoid with bot lanes, I guess since I have had many that have ruined the game for me. So now I have a new tactic. I only roam whenever the enemy bot lane is low or pushed or whenever my lane is pushed.

Taking Tower

Many people underestimate this but taking the mid tower first is a nice advantage. Now you have more space to operate in while having a chance to take enemy buffs. And once the tower is gone you now have the chance to push and roam while knowing in that the enemy laner will take a decent amount of time to push back.

Controlling The Tempo

Do you want the laning phase to end? Go bot or top, get a kill, clear minions and take tower. Whenever a tower goes down that means that most likely the laning phase is over for that lane. It is little things like these that will change the tide of the game for either team.

The Nerf On Assassins

Assassins And The Nerfs

This is a very quick explanation of why assassins are always nerfed. Hopefully there will be a part 2 on this but this is one of the main reasons in my opinion why assassins always get shot down.

1. Riot has this ideology that the way to curve assassins is to make them super weak early. However weakness early game will always be ineffective if that champion has a strong kit with overpowered mid game stats. Of course they are going to snowball, if they just trade in an average early game for an overpowered mid game which in turn of course makes that assassin broken late game.

So to sum up in these brief dot points is why assassins are broken.

•  Average early game- Snowballing Mid Game
• Kit is too versatile almost all assassins kit has some sort of strong unique gameplay to them
• No scaling no problem base damage is high to cover that cost.

All in all I hope this article has shed a bit of light on the assassins. It disappoints me when a champion is constantly changed *cough cough Katarina*. At least one high burst character is always nerfed in every patch. However I am still trying to figure out my self how to balance Assassins so this is one very hard job for the Riot balancing team.

How To Position As ADC

How To Position As Adc

The helpless agony I feel when the Adc dies first in a team fight. The "what ifs" I play over in my head. It was either the Adc positioning poorly or you not peeling however as an Adc with a very reliable escape move such as Ezrael (the one in the photo above) you should never be the first one wiped out in your team. This in my view is how I position in team fights as an Adc. 

With Vision

In high pressure situations the way to go is always stay in the back line with your support. Now if you do not have a strong peeling support or have no escape move e.g ( Ashe, Soraka, Sivir)  then you must play very carefully and even if you do careful is the way to go. Just HIT THE CLOSEST TARGET and once there are only a few members left on the enemy team say 1 or 2 right there is the chance to play a bit more freely.

But People Are Diving Me

The first teamfight should be like a measuring stick. Observe the first fight and see how aggressive your divers are. Now take a look at the items that you own. Do you think that you are able to handle the enemy divers. If yes then attack the enemy team while keeping a safe distance as most people that will try take you down are melee, which leaves them vulnerable to kiting. If no then I play very cautious sometimes not even being in damage range as your life is too precious too lose.

Last Option Guardian Angel

If nothing else works and you continually die. Then your only option is some sort of defensive item such as Guardian Angel, Randuins and sometimes Zhonyas. It would be amazing and so broken if Zhonyas was an ad minded item.

Alright that is the article. I think I only covered half of how the adc positions and it was probably stuff you have probably heard before. Adc is a position that can make or break a game and is most of the time instrumental to a teams victory. If played correctly it will devestate the enemy. League Of Insight: Class Above Everyone Else

Have you ever gotten that one player who is a class above everyone else. The person who after carrying the team their match history is littered with amazing performances. This is what I like to call being a class above everyone else. Now I certainly do not posses this ability but I know multiple friends that do. Every time I party up with them they are always the same, dominating their opposition with any champion they play.

Aura Every time I play with these type of friends it is as if they have an aura about them . I remember multiple games when I was playing with these players and we were getting hammered. But these special players stood up when the whole team was down and always gave that glimmer of hope. When ever you saw one person stand up it provided you belief that victory was actually possible.

Always Standing After a stirring comeback victory or a narrow lose sometimes I like to check the match history of the carriers. And when you see a consistent K/D throughout every game that is impressive. I ask my friends a lot, when a game is lost do I just troll and they do not reply in lane, they just focus on farming cs trying to catch up and when they base they reply " I can carry guys do not worry". It is that reply that makes the whole team just lift.

Words With Actions I have been trying to work on this myself. Most of pals that I play with unless they are on skype they do not speak in team chat during the laning phase unless they are asked a direct question. They say this helps them keep focus while avoiding any flaming. Yes sure team communication is vital however actions are louder than words.

League Of Legends My Top 5 Favorite Champions

My Top 5 Favorite Champions ATM

Btw: The stories i'm telling are mostly normal games as I seem to play when I can just play freely and have no pressure *ranked :(*

5. Amumu: This is the first champion I ever played and luckily I picked the right one. Amumus ability to tank through damage while dealing even more is amazing. This champion is very special as it has always come up at the top of the win rate charts after being nerfed, time after time after time.

4. Miss Fortune: Miss Fortune is very special to me. It was very early into my league career and I was looking for an adc to main. Luckily Miss Fortune popped up on free week and ever since then I have never looked back. Ever since the 1st time I started playing her she just has this simplicity about her while dealing heaps of damage. I am a bit worried about ranked but whenever I play mf they all go away.

3. Lee Sin: I think this champ is in everyone's list. He's incredible. Even though his moves seem simple together while comboed well it is really deadly. His early game power is probably one of the best in the league but his late game leaves a little to be desired. But ins't there a saying, Great early game means even greater leate game. I have a lot of good memories tearing up the battlefield with Lee while also making dazzling escapes with his W.

2. Akali This champion entered my attention when I was on a bit of a losing streak. Struggling to find that one champion luckily just like Mf Akali popped up. And I still remember my debut day with Akaki, 3 wins back to back it was amazing. The momentum I felt while playing this champion has carried me to quite a few memorable wins.

1. Katarina Just who doesn't like this champion, Oh wait! The adcs that im incinerating. The exhilaration I feel whenever I play Kat, it's as if your playing need for speed. You just wanna atk and atk and whenever you are cornered you just E out. My backstory with kat, well I was looking for an assassin since I love that high mobility (I'm pretty active irl) while dealing sustained damage. And the jukes and plays you can make while playing kat is really satisfying. Katarina was one of the first few champions I owned and I've never looked back ever since.

The Excuse Of YOLO!

Yolo! Worst Excuse Ever

If I got a dollar every time someone said yolo whenever I would be playing a game, I would have enough money to buy a plane ticket to America.Oh yeah and my thumbnail is incorrect the last "O" should be Once.

Stupid

The idea of yolo in general is stupid. The only reason why people say it is because they need an excuse to cover up something stupid that they did. For example Me:"Why did you run into the enemy team for" Person: Yolo Right. Me: -.- really?

Hate To Be A Hater But......

I just find it really annoying the fact that every bad mistake people make and straight away the excuse is #Yolo. The conversation is ended if people just say "my bad" but no they have to say Yolo.

Blind Saying

Remember when Yolo wasn't so well known, then it started gaining popularity. I find it really funny how people just randomly said it not knowing the meaning of it. They would say funny things like this

"Just finished running" #Yolo (Puff Huff)
"Passed my all my tests this semester" #Yolo
"Taking a glass of water Brb (be right back) #YoloBrb
"Sleeping" #Yolozzzzzz

GTA 5 WTF It's Everywhere

Now I know, Gta is my title but I have a picture of Mario. It may be confusing but bear with me as I explain why.

Toothpaste?

Grand Theft Auto 5, this game....... Is just hype all by itself. It has the sell-itself tag all over it. Its like colgate toothpaste, you're looking around the shelves and even though there are cheaper toothpastes than colgate, you still buy that trusted brand. Now im not saying that Gta 5 is a bad game since I haven't played it yet it's just that.......

The Fever

Gta fever it spreads like wildfire. Whenever me and a couple of mates are talking about sports 3 minutes later some person changes the subject to Gta 5 and then I just walk away to another conversation that will also be infected by Gta fever. And this has been going on for a couple of weeks that it's just amazing how 1 game yes 1 video game can wield so much attention. Yeah sure there's also Cod and Fifa but never have I heard so much about a game before it was even released until now.

Release

I still remember the day after the release of Gta 5. No one even tried to change the subject it was madness. I even remember a kid bringing Gta 5 to school. He walked around like he owned the place and it's funny because no one tried to steal it. 

What About Mario

But where does this leave Mario. Good'ol mario I remember the golden days when people would think eating mushrooms and flowers while jumping on dragons was normal. Too bad for nintendo they're really struggling. A few years ago the Wii was golden now everyones upgraded to their Ps8s and Xbox 10s and the Wii is useless. Then Nintendo tried to help it's problem with the Wii U but that didn't turn out so well.

"So ummmmm... did you see the manchester derby Man city too good" "Ummmm yeahh...... that was a good performance" then a stranger comes in " OMG OMFG I GOT GTA 5 BEST DAY OF MY LIFE"

And then everyone crowds that person like they would with a sportsperson.

League Of Legends The Rollercoaster

League Of Legends Why I Think It's A Phenomenon And Why I Quit The Game

League Of Legends....... those 3 words make me quiver and shake while also leaving me with a bundle of memories I will never forget. This game has provided me with joy and lust for victory however I fell short many times. This is the story of the start of my League journey and the bitter ending.

How I Got Into League

I was at my cousins house one day and I saw him playing an interesting game. He watched me stare alongside him fascinated with the moba (multiplayer online battle arena) and when I got home I downloaded it straight away unprepared that I would spend at least eight months playing it.

The Ability Of League

To say League Of Legends is a game is partially correct. Why? Because the other half is like a virtual simulator. Newbies get hit with the stunning visuals and it offers such a hands-on experience. This game has the perfect mix of simplicity and complication. It's easy you have four abilities and you move but the game has so much more than that! Unlike it's predecessors (before games) Hon and Dota league had captivated everyone around me (well where I live). At school everyone talk about Call Of Duty and GTA but League got its fair share as well, considering that it was a Pc game is pretty impressive.

More Than Just A Game

Whenever you finished a game of league there was more and I mean a lot more. This pc game has this ability that when you finish you just want more. And it didn't disappoint! Multiple youtube channels featuring gameplay and on top of it all....... Reddit. One of the best communities on the internet I've ever seen. Yeah sure there is some negativity but most of it is positive and it's amazing how so many people can share views all over the internet with such a humorous and feel good vibe. Sure there are many other reddit sites but the league of legends one is a class above them all. This ability for league to captivate my imagination while offering merchandise, a great community and multiple youtube channels was incredible to say the least I can see why so many people are attracted too it.

My Problems With The Game In General

One of the main problems I had was...... time. On average a normal 5v5 league game would usually set me back 40 minutes and I just didn't have that. I was always on the move and going to my friend's house plus my parents didn't appreciate that I was spending my free time on a game and would tell me to shut it after only 1 hour. But one of the most crippling things was...... doing absolutely insane and destroying your lane opponent only for your team to stuff up and ruin it ALL. I definitely have had my fair share of blunders but the pain I felt every time I lost because of that 1 bad player or that 1 person that disconnects caused me to have so much agony I felt as if every time I moved 1 step forward I got knocked 3 steps back.

Devastating

It felt as if every time I was on a winning streak I would have a losing streak straight after. However the biggest problem was every time I won time it was if I could  fly for a minute but every time I lost it felt like an hour of misery. I'm a very competitive person and I don't take losing very well but in spite of that I always lost. Maybe it was me it probably was but I couldnt find any way to enhance my skills as I was always good enough to hold my own, for example have a decent score 8 kills 7 deaths but not many times I could find the carrying mentality to put all my teammates on my back and take them all along the journey of victory.

Ranked

I know one thing, this system they called ranked has caused heartache to at least everyone at level 30. Almost every day there was at least 1 person on reddit that talked about ranked or solo-q and most of the time it was a complaint. I am no different I think ranked was one of the driving factors in my quitting as league and here's why. I was playing my placement matches and I think you need about 6 wins to get to silver. I definitely wanted to get there was....... bronze is so called league hell. As I got into matches I went L/L/W/L/W and most of the time it was my teammates not playing bad just that I always got the person that disconnected. It felt as if league of legends had something against me and wanted me to fall flat on my face. Sure they don't know who will disconnect but I'm telling you if there was someone that disconnected in the game that person was definitely on my team in ranked.

My Experience With Gaming :/

It all started when I was about 5, playing pin ball I think it was called on windows xp. Now many years on I don't play pin ball anymore but have played multiple rpg games. Runescape, Maplestory and even Ragnarok all of them I've gladly experienced until I figured out that I wasn't dedicated enough. I enjoy games that finish in 5-50 minutes instead of continuing for hours.

What I'm Playing Now

Currently i am on holidays and have had a lot of time to spend at home. But the game I've played consistently has been mine craft. The game can range from so simple as by plopping a block or complicated as in building in the sky trying to avoid multiple dangers. I'm very far off from being the best or even close to good but every time I play I get a little bit better.

Next Post........

Next post is going to be very special it's going to take a while to write but this game has taken a huge chunk out of my life. This story will pinpoint my gaming experience with League Of Legends and the fallout I had with it.
